Testing at DNV laboratories in Singapore has shown that mXt9 mixed with 380 grade HFO exceeds IMO standards. Additionally, the same tests were carried out on 100% mXt9 which showed that it passed IMO standards for a marine diesel fuel.

These tests were fully independent; IMO standards are based on ISO8217 and the testing shows that mXt9 is 100% safe for large scale diesel engines, even in its pure form.
